Wool and I have always been on good terms, we seem to speak the same language. The wool is a big part of our Icelanders identity, but at the same time I feel a great urge to redefine how it is presented.
I have passion for making patterns, in particular fine drawings through which I intend to give a new dimension to the wool.
Growth, second skin, structure and texture, graphic, drawing, pattern, delicacy, multifunction, transparent, wool, tights, thread, recycling are all descriptive of my passion as an artist.
